Children launch Shah Taj's Urdu book of science stories

The book Picnic by Shah Taj Khan, a famous children's writer from Pune, Maharashtra, had a unique launch the other day. This was the second edition of the book Picnic. Shah Taj Khan is an award winning author of Uttar Pradesh Urdu Academy, who lives in Pune.

Picnic was released on Monday by the students of the District Parishad Urdu School, Wasai.

It was a unique inauguration ceremony because this ceremony was performed by the students of District Parishad Urdu School beyond its traditional style. The event was presided over by Naeem Ahmed, playwright and secretary of Aita Paul House.

Senior members of Aita Palghar Saleem Imrani and President Tanveer Ahmed and graduate teacher Hina Kausar were present on the occasion.

The ceremony started with the recitation by student Amin Sheikh. Later Tanveer Ahmed expressed his views and said that the first volume of Shah Taj Khan's book Picnic was also launched by the students of District Parishad Urdu School. The second edition was also launched by the children.

He said that this book is a children's book and its launch by children is a new beginning in the world of children's literature. This new beginning will increase the curiosity of the students to read the book and they will be attracted towards reading the book with great enthusiasm.

The first volume of Picnic was very popular among the children. It was a roaring success.

On this occasion Naeem Ahmed said that Shah Taj Khan had long wished that the launch of the second edition, like the first volume of Picnic, sould be carried out by the children

He asked the students to read this book because Shah Taj Khan has compiled a collection of these scientific stories for them in a beautiful way that it will be easier for you to understand scientific concepts in the style of stories.

He said that by introducing scientific stories in Urdu literature, Shah Taj Khan has added a new genre in Urdu literature.

The author Shah Taj Khan asked the students to make friends with the books. Under the campaign, many such lovely books have been kept in the mobile library for the students.

On this occasion, APJ Abdul Kalam Gashti Library was also inaugurated by Aita Pal Ghar for the students of Zilla Parishad Urdu School Wasai.
