It is often said luck favours the brave, something similar happened with Tabassum Haq, a former journalist and now a proud organizer of various beauty paegents under a broad spectrum of age groups, who has been invited by a Russian beauty paegent in South Korean to head a delegation. She is a grounded and a humble human in person.   Awaz   the   Voice   reached out to her for a tete-a-tete "Darling, I'll be heading the delegation to South Korea, here I am the National Director for Mrs Universe since 2017," was what Tabassum Haq, a Delhi-born new age enterpreneur told  Awaz   the   voice  over a telephonic interview. Guwahati-based advocate Sheikh Shahnawaz Mohammad is using social media to demystify the complex clauses of the law to make the common man understand it in the simplest possible terms. "It's nice to see that my videos are of help to the people as many benefitted from watching these. For instance, one day a policeman snatched the bike keys of one of my brothers for no reason. He had seen a

Public memory has its strange mechanism. As a nation, we have forgotten the name of a woman whose self-sacrifice awakened the nationalist zeal among Indians and kindled it in a way that a generation of revolutionaries rose in revolt against British rule. Her supreme sacrifice was a key factor in the formation of the Ghadar Party and the emergence of Bhagat Singh and revolutionary movements.   Viranwali was a gutsy woman challenging the patriarchal notions of her times. Education had started spreading in India and women were stepping out. She took the courage to travel by railways all alone. But, she did not realize that India was being ruled by the British people who treated Indian women as sex objects. The sexual at
